Shadowing Scheme - Cambridge University Students' Union

An opportunity for students with little or no family history of studying at university to find out what life as a Cambridge student is really like:

    • Stay with a current Cambridge student who is studying the subject you are interested in
    •  Attend lectures, supervisions
    • Take part in extra-curricular activities
    • Find out more about the application process

    Who is the event for?

Students who are in Year 12 (England and Wales), S5 (Scotland) and Year 13 (Northern Ireland) who have little or no family experience of university  or whose school rarely sends students to Cambridge and who are on track to achieve good grades at A Level or equivalent are encouraged to apply.

When does the Shadowing Scheme run?

The Shadowing Scheme runs for three weekends (Thursday afternoon – Saturday morning) in late January and early February. Applications will open later in the year, so please check then for exact dates.

How do I find out more?

More information, including details of how to apply, can be found on the CUSU (Cambridge University Students’ Union) website.
