Research interests
- literature and history of the Low Countries,
- and drama and society in the Low Countries in the late medieval and renaissance period.
Biography
Elsa Strietman has been instrumental in making the drama of the Low Countries in these periods better known outside the Netherlands and Belgium, through publications and translations. She served as undergraduate and graduate Tutor from 1988 to 2014 and as Vice President from 2008 to 2014.
