I had an incredible time exploring the city of Barcelona with one of my friends from my old school.

Having never been to Spain before I really enjoyed experiencing a new country and I loved the buzz of the city. We spent a day at Park Guell; seeing much of Gaudi’s amazing architecture and then went on to see the Sagrada Familia.  This was amazing and I’m so grateful I got the opportunity to see it; I would love to go back when it is finished! We also walked up the mountain to the Olympic stadium where the 1992 games were held. This stadium was enormous and the museum was really inspiring. We also went for a swim in the Olympic 50m swimming pool which was amazing. We also spent a lot of time exploring the streets of Barcelona on E-scooters, trying the local cuisine and relaxing on the beach.

This trip was the highlight of my summer and I’m so grateful I got the opportunity to go and visit Barcelona.
