Your right to complain

If you think we are not complying with our obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 you may complain initially to the Freedom of Information Officer at the address below. If your complaint cannot be dealt with satisfactorily on an informal basis it is your right to make a formal complaint to the College.

Who to complain to

Your complaint should be made in writing to the Freedom of Information Officer at the address below. The Freedom of Information Officer will acknowledge your letter within seven working days, and will let you know when a decision will be made on your complaint.

If you are still not satisfied

If you are not satisfied with the College's decision, you may appeal to the Information Commissioner for a decision on the handling of your request. The Information Commissioner is an independent statutory body which oversees the operation of the Freedom of Information Act. Requests for a review by the Information Commissioner should be made in writing directly to the address below.
