Please note: if you are a new student, we cannot produce letters for you until you have arrived in Cambridge.
If you require a letter confirming your student status for bank or other purposes, please complete the form below. We will normally process your request within five working days. Letters will be sent to you electronically.
The University is responsible for issuing official degree certificates and Certificates of Academic Record (transcripts). Original degree certificates are issued without charge to all students when they graduate. Transcripts are sent to college Tutorial Offices for forwarding to graduands after graduation (normally within two months): these will be sent to your First Destination Address on your Self-Service, so please ensure that it is correct.
Please note that the Tutorial Office does not prepare official transcripts. These must be ordered directly from the Student Registry.
